【Abstract】 The chromatographic performance of columns comprised of segments with different liquid phase loading was evaluated with respect to column efficiency, resolution and solute retention time. The behavior of the gradient columns as a function of flow direction is studied.The columns possessing an exponentially gradient in k’ have been treated theoretically from the viewpoint of solute retention time. The derived equations have been experimentally verified. The application of these columns has been studied.更多还原
