【Abstract】 A new approach to optimize draught settings of the plate finisher by successive approximationis proposed in this article as a solution of optimizing the multi-objective design of the plate reduc-tion schedule.The features,design philosophy and calculation procedure of this approach arc de-scribed in detail with a block diagram.Also attached to the description is a discussion of the calcu-lated results of a practical example with respect to its possible technical and economic profit.The new approach is characterized by its simplicity of the calculation for the reduction scheduleoptimization design.Being able to cooperate with the on line application of computers,this approachmakes it possible to optimize the rolling-process control.更多还原
