【Abstract】 In a weak-alkaline solution, nickel forms high sensitivity complex with cadion in the presence of Tween-80. The complex exhibits maximum m absorption at 505 nm and value of apparent molar absorrption coefficient has been found to he 1.6×10~5.Beer’s law is obeyed in the range of 0—0.3μg/mL.The mclar ratio of Ni to cadion in the cometex is estimated to he 1:2. A new spectrophotometric me thod has heen developed for the determination of nickel in copper-alloys and iron-steels with satisfactory results.更多还原
