四川二叠纪峨眉山玄武岩的古地磁极性研究
PALEOMAGNETIC POLARITY OF THE PERMIAN EMEISHAN BASALT IN SICHUAN
【摘要】 本文通过攀枝花-西昌地区二叠纪岩层的古地磁测定,给出了两组对跖的磁性方向,一组在NE象限,一组在SW象限。并进一步根据国际上的地磁极性间隔年表与峨眉山玄武岩的同位素地质年龄测定数据,提出NE象限的磁性方向是地磁正极性期形成的,而SW象限的磁性方向是地磁反极性期形成的。
【Abstract】 On the basis of the paleomagnetic determination on specimens from the Permianstrata in the Panzhihua--Xichang area, two groups of paleomagnetic vectors in theopposite directions have been obtained——one is in the NE quadrant and the otherin the SW quadrant. According to the international geomagnetic polarity time scaleand the isotopic age data of the Emeishan Basalt, it is proposed that the paleoma-gnetic direction in the NE quadrant originated in the normal polarity epoch, whilethat in the SW quarant in the reversed polarity epoch.
