【摘要】 <正> 甲螨主要栖居于土壤和枯枝落叶层,取食各种有机物质,但有些种类与植物有关,栖居于树干或产卵于植物表面,为害植物的根系,或取食裂果(Jeppson et al.,1975)。我国四川万县地区农科所(1977)曾报道过甲螨为害水稻,致使叶片枯黄,纵向卷曲,严重地影响了秧苗的生长发育,个别植株甚至枯死。作者之一(王)在广东、广西二省调查时,见人工栽培的纤维植物——剑麻叶片呈现很多直径一至数厘米大小的斑点,其中有甲螨取食

【Abstract】 The oribatid mites are best known as inhabkants of litter and upper soil strata, but several species are associated with living plants. A species of oribatid mites injurious to rice plant was reported from Sichuan Province, but it has not been given name. Another species collected from Guangdong and Guangxi Provinces form many spots on the leaf surface of Agave sisalana which were cukured in the field. A great number of mites eat the leaf tissue in it and the fibres were broken, so that it was worthless completely. This paper gives the name to these two species of oribatid mites, one of them is described as a new species.1. Punctoribates manzanoensis HammerMaterial examined. 13 exs. Sichuan (Wanxian), VI. 1976. ex rice plant. Known distribu-tion: Argentine, New Zealand and Japan.2. Zygoribatula agaveae sp. nov. (figs. 1-6)339.6-419.5×213.1-319.6 μ. [Prodorsura] Rostrum with a pointed tip. Setae ro located on the dorsum of rostrum, 41.3-65.5 μ long, a thin transverse line connecting the insertions of sctae ro. Lamellae connected by a translamella, bearing a pair of rounded apophyses for lamel-lar setae. Setae le 45.6-68.4 μ long, in 57-68.4 μ long, usually ro<le≤ in. All setae on pro-dorsum barbed in the distal 1/2 or 2/3 excepting for setae ex thin and smooth, as long as c1. Sensillus bearing a head weakly barbed and with a rounded apex. [Notogaster] Rounded, dorsal surface covered with distinct foveolae. Fourteen pairs of notogastral setae shorter barbed and blunt at tip. The shortest and thinest hair (c1) on the shoulder. The dorsosejugal areae porosae can be found. Fout pairs of areae porosae, oval in dorsal view, Au the largest of them. [Ventral side] Genito-anal chaetotaxy: 4-1-2-3. Apodemata apo2 and apos not connected with each other; apo. sj well developed and fused to each other. Epimeral chaetotaxy; 3-1-3-3. Vental plate sculptured by foveolae which are larger than those on nogogaster. Adanal fissure (iad) located close to anterior corner of anal opening. [Legs] All legs tridactyle.Holotype- Guangxi (Nanning 22°30’N, 108°40’E), XI. 5. 1979, host plam: Agave sisalana Perr., Paratypes- 30 exs. collecting data same as for holotype; 8 paratypes are deposited in the collection of the National Science Museum, Tokyo, Japan; the remaining type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica,The known Zygoribatula species with sharply pointed rostrum as well as rather thick and barbed notogastral setae are Z. undulata Berlese, 1917, Z. tortilis Hammer, 1977 and Z. oceana Hammer, 1972. The former two species bear humeral setae (c1 and c2) mostly equal in length, and in this regard differ from the new species. In Z. oceana from Tahiti humeral setae c1 is very short, about 1/4 as long as seta C2. This condition in the new species is not so extr閙e and c1 is about 1/2 as long as c2. Notogastral setae of the new species are thicker and shorter than those of Z. oceana. Adanal seta ad3 and adanul fissure (iad) not so close together as in the Tahitian species. .
