【Abstract】 Diacetabulum shantouense sp. nov. (figs. 1, 2)Host: Charadrius alexandrinus dealbatus.Location in host: Intestine.Locality: Shautou (Swatow), Guangdong, China.New species may be distinguished easily from the 2 known species of its congener by the following characters.(1). Two transversal muscular bundles are present on the surface of cirrus pouch and many small spines (about 40-60) on the lower part of genital atrium.(2). The right ventral sucker is anterior to left ventral sucker.(3). The ratio of the body length and width, the shape and situation of the vi-tellarian follicle, extreme end of caeca, and the measurements of the reproductive organs and eggs are different from the 2 known species.The holotype and 12 paratypes are deposited in the Institute of Parasitology, Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences, Guangzhou, China.更多还原
