TJ-1 volumetric strainmeters, developed by Su Kaizhi (Seismogeological Brigade, State Seismological Bureau) and others, installed in Xuzhou (徐州), Wenquan (温泉) and Fengfeng (峰峰), had yielded the first set of observational data.
