人体内、外环境中硝酸盐亚硝酸盐含量与胃癌关系的初步探讨
PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION INTO POSSIBLE CORRELATIONBETWEEN ENVIRONMENTAL NITRATES AND NITRITES AND OCCURRENCE OF GASTRIC CANCER
【摘要】 从选定的大连市农村的胃癌高发区及低发区,分别采取了居民饮水、食物(包括主付食品)的样本,进行了硝酸盐、亚硝酸盐含量的测定,因为它们是潜在性致癌物亚硝基胺的前体。又利用我院地方性胃癌普查工作所当时取得的167份胃液标本,进行了同样的测定。测试结果表明:在胃癌高、低发两种地区取得的饮水及食物样本中,仅仅是大白菜(鲜革及腌菜,各区60份)一项显示了显著性差别:其硝酸盐及亚硝酸盐含量高发区显著高于低发区。胃液 pH 值<3者,其硝酸盐、亚硝酸盐含量亦显著地高于其>3者。本文推断:当地出产的大白菜可能是该胃癌高发区的硝酸盐、亚硝酸盐的主要来源,值得我们进一步探究其与胃癌发生的可能因果性联系。
【Abstract】 The contents of nitrates and nitrites,or the precursors of potentially carcinogenic nitrosomines,were determined in the environm- ental samples of water and food stuffs collected from the high and low gastric cancer mortality areas in the rural villages of Dalian District, China.Similar determinations were also performed for the 167 gastric juice samples freshly taken during a local survey for gastric cancers.It was disclosed that significant difference in nitrates and nitrites contents was noticed only between the 60 cabbage samples (fresh and salted)from the two respective areas.The gastric juice pH values were found to be correlated with in vivo nitrates and nitrites contents,which were signif- icantly higher in the cases with pH value less than 3 as compared with those greater than 3.The result of this study implies that the locally produced cabbage might be the main source of nitrates and nitrites in the high gastric cancer mortality area,and that further investigation to illuminate the possible etiological role of nitrates and nitrites in the gastric cancer occurrence will be justifiable.
