【Abstract】 The propagation of cracks in reinforced concrete members will lead to the corrosion of the steel, which can influence the durability of the members. This paper has initially used the method of fuzzy sets to analyse the possibility of durability failure, and taken a mathematic model for the possibility of fuzzy event.
