【Abstract】 In this paper, it is suggested that the abnormal upset of the annuals is principally caused by precursory geosound, particularly due to the signals of low frequency sound within 0.01-200 Hz. The high frequency signals, especially the sounds of 2000 Hz or higher, are easy to attenuate in the propagation. The infrasonic sound (0.01-20 Hz) can produce resonance of viscera of the animals, sometimes it can even hurt them. Some animals have lower hearing threshold over wider frequency band than the human being, so they can receive the precursory geosound earlier than the human, and behave abnormally. Therefore, it is important to select the animals with obvious pre-seismic unusual behaviour, low hearing threshold over broad frequency "range for observations.更多还原
