【Abstract】 In recent years, the seismological workers have payed much attention to the seismicity tendency in northern Henan province. Based on the judgements and studies of the seismic risk areas, the Q value-quality factor of medium is determined from the rates of coda wave attenuations in Lin Xian and its vicinities, and the time space distributions of Q values are analyzed in this paper. The results show that the studied area is of low Q value, and there is no change of Q values with time, hence providing valuable background information of medium characteristics for assessing and researching seismic risk areas.更多还原
