【Abstract】 A proper seismic velocity model suitable for this seismic network should be constructed so as to improve the accuracy of locations of earthquakes by the network. In this paper, the damped least square method is described for joint determinations of hypocenters and one dimensional velocity model by using multiple arrival time data, the solutions obtained are evaluated and the error and resolutions are calculated as well. The compiled program is numerically tested. The numerical results are utilized to study the rationality of distributions of stations of the Beijing seismic network.更多还原
