岩石破裂过程中的低频电磁辐射

【摘要】 <正> 引言 许多作者注意到伴随岩石破裂过程中的电磁辐射现象及其在地震预报中的意义。关于这种辐射的机理有几种不同的说法。大多数作者认为,压电效应是形成这种辐射的主要因素。

【Abstract】 The experiments of rock ruptures conducted with 100 ton press indicated that the brittle ruptures of granodolerite, marble, and some limestone samples were accompanied by low frequancy electromagnetic emission with 5 kHz to 7 kHz. The average emission amplitude was 2 or 3 orders of magnitude higher than that derived theoretically from piezoelectrieal effects. The experimental phenomena might be direct manifestations of dynamic features of crack growth during the brittle ruptures of rock samples. Semi-quantitative discussions are made on these experiments in this paper.
