【Abstract】 This paper deals with the soil of Liangshui natural conservancy and distribution regulation of soils. The vertical distribution of soils has not been discovered. The zonal soil is the dark brown forest soil while the non-zonal soils are meadow, bog and pear one.According to the field investigation and distinction of airpho to the soils of the conservancy are classified as four orders, four great groups and, fourteen sub-groups. Dark brown forest soils of Alfisol include six sub-groups: typical dark brown forest soil; gleyic dark brown forest soil, meadow dark brown forest soil, meadow gleyic dark brown forest soil, spodic dark brown forest soil and inceptive dark brown forest soil. The meadow soils of hemi-hydatogenous soils include three subgroups: meadow soil (dark meadow soil), dark brown forest soil-like meadow soil and bog soil-like meadow soil. The bog soils of hydatogneous soils include four sub-groups: meadow bog soil, humic bog soil, peat humic bog soil and peat bog soil. The peat soils of histosol include only a sub-group, peat soil.
