【Abstract】 Some computer methods to generate optimal solution for cut-to-size wood-based panel furniture, in order to minimize total waste, were introduced and analyzed. In this paper, at first, the model of LINEAR PROGRAMMING SIMPLEX was used, by which optimal solution can be got, but not whole integer. Then the models of IMPLICIT ENUMERATION and GOMORY’S CUTTING PLANE were gone through, by which the whole integer solution can be obtained if there is an integer solution.The cut-to-size wood-based panel problem is important for furniture manufacturers. The waste percentage in this way was considerably smaller than it generated by the manual scheduling procedures currently performed at plants.更多还原
