CO在Pt/TiO2+Nb催化剂上吸附态的红外考察

【Abstract】 Initiative study of the IR spectra for adsorbed CO on Pt/TiO2+Nb system was carried out. It was found that for the samples treated with hydrogen at ≤374℃, the gradual weakening and disappearing of the intensity of bands of linear adsorbed CO in the region of 2100-2000cm-1 and the intensity of bands in the region of 1650-1400cm-1 along with the duration of CO adsorption synchronized with each other. After gas phase CO in the system was evacuated, the bands in these two regions reappeared at the same time. Lt is possible that an active intermediate species results from the reaction of adsorbed CO with carboxylate, and this process is reversible. It was also found that raising the temperature of hydrogen treatment, the bands of adsorbed CO on Pt/TiO2 + Nb exhibited a "violet shift". These new phenomena and peculiar properties of Pt/ TiO2 + Nb catalyst are completely different from those observed for Pt/ TiO2 system.
