【Abstract】 The firing of enamel frit is a process of "Liquid-phase Sintering". Its mass transfer is based on the viscous flow of the melt. On the basis of conventional relations of glassy substances, namely chemical composition-structure-viscosity-temperature, the following empirical formula for calculating enamel frit firing temperature (Ttxing) has beendeduced:T fixing(constant viscosity) = x1 -X1/S + X2 X2/S.....Where x1, x2.... are the molar quantities of enamel frit composition; S refers to the molar quantity of SiO2; while X1, X2 ....mean "coefficients of Tfxing calculation".
