【Abstract】 The 13C NMR assignments of six tetrahydro-derivatives and three dihydro-derivatives of benzodiazopines have been made.With the aid of the techniques of wide-band proton decoupling, off-resonance decoupling, the substituent additivity rules, and the comparison of series of homologous compounds, the chemical shifts of various types of carbon in molecules have been determined.The results have been discussed in terms of the hybridization state of the observed nucleus, mesomeric and substituent effects.
