雪硅钙石族矿物在我国的发现及其研究
A Study on Tobermorite Mineral Group Discovered in China
【摘要】 <正> 雪硅钙石(Tobermorite或Crestmorite)最早由Heddle(1880)发现于苏格兰Tobermory地方因而得名。J.D.C.McConnell(1954),H.D.Megaw(1956)等根据化学成分、晶胞大小对其晶体结构提出臆测,可能属D25-C2221空间群,a 11.3,b 7.33,c 22.6,Z=4,斜方晶胞,为层链状结构。结构式为Ca5Si6O16(OH)2·4H2O。S.A.Hamid(1981)测定的亚晶胞a′5.586,b′3.696,c22.779,Z=2,结构式为Ca2.25[Si3O7.5(OH)1.5]·H2O,空间群为Imm2,并认为可能的有序结构是单斜的,空间群为P21,am 6.69,bm 7.39,Cm 22.779,γ123°49′,结构中有Si3(O/OH)9的链平行于b轴,Ca的配位数为7。
【Abstract】 Tobermorite is a rare mineral in nature. The HA tobermorite was found in ska-rns at Zhijiazhuang mine, Hebei Province in 1980 and that of 14A tobermorite at Fushan mine, sothern Hebei Province in 1982. They appear as radiated lamella and rosette in aggregate; lath and shord-like in single crystals with {100}, {001} , {110}, forms and {001} {100} cleavage and 0.1-3mm in length. Their formula, calculating based on 2 oxygens of 11A tobermorite is Ca4.63Na0.01K0.04Al0.18H2.23 [Si5.46Al0.54] O17.81 , 4.19H2O and based on 24 oxygens of 14A tobermorite is Ca4.94Mg0.001Fe0.001 Na0.002H1.46 [Si5.88Al0.002] 017.35 , 6.56H2O. Also X-ray powder diffraction optical properties, infra-red specta and thermal data are listed. All of the data show that both llA and 14A tobermorite were converted into 9A tobermorite accompanied by loss of molecular water and shrinkage of lattice after they had been heated at 300℃ for 24 hours. Therefore, all of our specimens belong to so called "normal" type even though there are higher content of AI in 11A form.Considering the paragenesis of mineral the tobermorite in this study were formed as following three ways: crystallied from hydrothermal solution immediately at low temperature; the product of alterating from wollastonite; and conversion from gel material.
