【摘要】 实验用3—5月龄青年鼠11只,18月龄老年鼠13只,各分对照与实验两组,实验组在基础饲料中加入参皂甙。三个月后取心肌制超薄切片,电镜观察。青年对照组与实验组心肌结构未见明显差别。老年对照组心肌细胞间胶元纤维增多。细胞内脂褐素数量增多,电子密度致密。核内异染色质在核边缘堆积且核边缘不规则,多凹陷。线粒体在肌原纤维间排列不整齐,线粒体嵴破裂以致消失。实验组细胞结构有所改善,表现在核边缘比较完整,异染色质较少,而且大部分线粒体嵴结构较清晰,脂褐素电子密度较低,文中井讨论了脂褐素的来源。更多还原

【Abstract】 Twenty-four Wistar male rats were used in the experiment. Eleven of them aged 3-6 months old, 13 of them aged 18 months old. Animals were divided into 4 groups: 1, young experimental group, 6 animals; 2, young control group, 5 animals; 3, old experimental group, 7 animals; 4, o,ld control group, G animals.Ginseng leaf saponin powder was administrated orally once a day by 100 mg/kg. bd. wt. for a period of 3 months. Body weights of animals were recorded once a month. Three months after the drug administration, all the animals w.ere killed and the tip of ventricular muscle was cut and prepared for ultrastructural observation. The resulte are summarized as follows.1, The body weight of the young experimental group increase facter than that of the controls. However, the difference of the body weights between the old experimental and control groups is not as marked as that of the young ones.2, The old experimental animals are covered with fine and smooth hairs which give them a healthier and stronger appearance than that of the controls.3, Some consistent alterations in ultrastrueture are associated with aging. In the old control group, collagenous fibers and fibroblaists are frequently encountered in the myocardium. Lipofuscin granules accumulate linearly with age.4, In the myocardium of young animals, mitochondria with clear cut double outer membrane and cristae are arranged one after another in longitudinal rows along the muscle fibrils. In comparison, the mitochondria in the senescent rats are closely packed together, some-times triangular in shape. The cristae and the outer membrane of the mitochondria are usually not very clearly shown.5, In the old control animals there are more invaginations of the nuclear membrane and with wider perinttelear space in contrast to the smoother appearance of the nuclear membrane in the young ones.6, After feeding with Ginseng Saponin, the nuclei of the old experimental group appeared round and smooth which looked more like the nuclei in the young animals.7, Since mitochondria showed degenerative changes in relation to the accumulation of lipofuscin pigments, it would be interesting to work on the correlation of the morphological changes with their functional meaning during the aging process.8, It may be concluded that the Ginseng leaf Saponins has a stimulating effect for growth in the yoiung rats and a tonic effect for the overall condition of the old animals.
