【Abstract】 Recently, there is increasing evidence on the roles of papillomaviruses (HPV) in the causation of cervical cancer. HPV-DNA was detected in biopsies of cervical cancer by spot hybridization. The fragments of HPV-6b, 11, 16, and 18 extracted from plasmids were used as probes. 2μg of DNA from cervical cancer biopsy speciments were spoted on nitrocelloluse filter and hybridized with 1 × 107 cpm 32P labeled probes. 18 out of 32 cervical carcinomas hybridized with HPV-16 DNA and 1 out of them hybridized with HPV-18 DNA. None of them hybridized with HPV-11 and 6b DNA. The DNA from cervical carcinoma cell lines (Hela and CC801) only hybridized with HPV-18 DNA.更多还原
