【摘要】 本文扼要介绍了1984年5月21日江苏黄海海域Ms=6.2级地震的基本参数、系列特征、烈度以及地质构造条件。在回顾对这次地震的监测预报过程时,着重描述了它的前兆现象;探讨了基可能的规律:对震中及基附近地区的地震活动趋势作了初步的预测,对如何较有效地监测预报本地区的中强震提出了一些看法。更多还原

【Abstract】 In the paper, the basic parameters, sequence characteristics, intensity and geological tectonic conditions of the Yellow Sea earthquake of Ms6.2 in Jiangsu Province which occurred on May 21, 1984 are briefly introduced. Moreover, it remarkably depicts the precursory phenomenaof the quake and tried to find out the possible laws governing earthquake occurrence; the seismic trend in the epicentral and adjacent areas is preliminarily predicted and some tentative ideas of how to monitor and predict the moderately strong earthquakes in this area is also presented.更多还原
