尾核对猫丘脑后核内脏大神经诱发放电的影响
EFFECT OF CAUDATE NUCLEUS ON UNIT DISCHARGE IN POSTERIOR NUCLEUS OF THE THALAMUS OF THE CATS EVOKED BY STIMUIATION OF THE SPLANCHNIC AFFERNTS
【摘要】 本文以强电流刺激内脏大神经传入纤维引起的丘脑后核单位放电为内脏痛的指标,研究了尾核头部电刺激对该放电的影响,观察到两种抑制效应。一种对尾核刺激后的30~160毫秒期间发生的对丘脑后核单位放电的即时抑制。另一种为尾核刺激后3~12分钟发生的对丘脑后核单位放电的长时程后抑制。提示尾核可能具有抑制内脏痛的作用。
【Abstract】 This paper is a study of the effects of stimulating electrically the headof Caudate Nucleus on Evoked Unit Discharge in Posterior Nucleus of theThalamus of the cat by strongly stimulating the Greater Splanchnic Afferents.As a results, two kinds of inhibition of the Evoked Unit Discharges werefound. One of these is an immediate inhibition taking place the period of30-160 milli second after stimulating the Caudate Nucleus. The other one isa long lasting after-inhibition that takes place several minutes after stimula-ting the Caudate Nucleus. Since she Evoked Discharge of Splanchnic A andC Afferents is generally accepted as an indication of Visceral Pain, thissuggested that the Caudate Nucleus may play a role in the inhibition of theVisceral Pain.
