【Abstract】 We have studied the fibrogenic action of the amorphous silica dust using intratracheal injection in rats with 25mg twice lung weight (wet and dry), hilar lymph nodes weight, collagen content in lung and histological observation were made at 1 month, 6 months, 12 months after injection. Nodular lesions formed by cells, reticulin and collagen fiber were found in lung and hilar lymph nodes followed by interstitial fibrosis in lung in thc later stage. Collagen content in lung and other items changed parallel with lung lesion. The result shows that noncrystalic amorphous silica does have a fibrogenic action.更多还原
