【Abstract】 Ranuculin can be easily hydrolyzed in neutral or basic medium to protoanemonin and glucose, the former of which is a promising agent in the treatment of some malignant tumours. An investigation was made to study the stability and metabolism of 131 I-labelled ranuculin in mice. Highest levels of ranuculin were found in the lung, liver and kidney, 0.5, 1, 4 and 24 h after intravenous injection. Hydrolysis started at the end of 2 h and the metabolites were mainly excreted with urine.更多还原
