提高多晶钇铁石榴石材料剩磁比的研究
IMPROVEMENT OF REMANENCE RATIOS OF SUBSTITUTED POLYCRYSTALLINE Y-Fe GARNET
【摘要】 研究了用于微波闭锁式器件的多晶钇铁石榴石和钆替换的钇铁石榴石材料。实验工作着重研究了影响剩磁比的因素。结果表明,化学正分的多晶单相材料有高的剩磁比;在Y3Fe5-xMnxO12,Y2.1Gd0.9Al0.05Fe4.95-xMnxO12和Y3Al0.35Fe4.65-xMnxO12中,用少量锰(x=0.05~0.09)替代铁以降低|λ111|,其剩磁比都有明显的提高;材料密度高,晶粒大小适宜且均匀对改进剩磁比也很重要。实验结果还表明,用适量钆置换钇,可有效地提高剩磁的温度稳定性。
【Abstract】 Polycrystalline Y-Fe garnet and Gd3+ substituted Y-Fe garnet materials for latching nonreciprocal ferrite microstrip phase shifters have been investigated. We have concentrated our attention on the factors which have influence on remanence ratios. It was found that, the single phase materials with stoichiometric composition have high remanence ratios; with the Mn3+ substitutions, the remanence ratios for Y3Fe5-xMnxO12, Y2.1Gd0.9Al0.05Fe4.95-xMnxO12 and Y3Al0.35Fe4.65-xMnxO12(x=0.05-0.09) are improved apparently, because the Mn3+ ions are very effective in reducing magnetostriction constant |λ111|; and the remanence ratios depend strongly on grain size and homogeneity. Besides, density and microstructure of the garnet materials make notable impact on the remanence ratios. By proper choice of Gd3+ content in Gd3+ substituted Y-Fe-Al garnet, the remanence magnetization can be made insensitive to temperature. For Y2.1Gd0.9Al0.05Mn0.07Fe4.88O1.2, △Bm/Bm△T=-2.84·1014, △Br/Br △T=-2.21·10-3(-50℃~70℃).
