【Abstract】 In 1981—84,23=year=old‘Xianfeng’orange(Citrus sinensis Osbeck)trees were studied on annual periodic changes in chlorophyll content ofleaves as well as the effects of nitrogen application on both content ofleaf N and chlorophyll.The results showed that 1,chlorophyll con-tent in young leaves increased with time till in September-October,thenit was stable.After November,chlorophyll decreased slightly;2,Thecontent of chlorophyll increased markedly by N application at a givenamount in the stage of turning green of spring-leaf.It was benefical toturn green normally for leaves;and 3,chlorophyll content was posi-tively correlated with the amount of N application,but the correlation wasless significant before leaf fully turned green than after.Chlorophyllcontent was also positively correlated with content of leaf N.These cor-relations indicated that there were closely relations among the chloro-phyll content,the amount of N applied and the leaf N.更多还原
