接触疲劳试验不同形状试样的光弹性研究

【摘要】 本文对JPM—1型和JP—BD型接触疲劳试验机试验方法暂行规定中所推荐的几种不同形状(凸台形、梯形、园弧形)的试样,进行了三维光弹接触应力分析,定量地得到了应力分布情况。在对实验和计算结果进行了比较之后,建议采用园弧形试样为标准试样。其优点是:(1)对实验条件的要求比较宽,试验结果可比性好;(2)试样形状接近工程实际中多数产生疲劳破坏的零件,因而具有典型性;(3)加比较小的载荷就可在试样内产生较大的应力,因而可以延长接触疲劳试验机加力轴的使用寿命。

【Abstract】 This paper deals with contact stress for specimens of different shapes (rectangle, trapezoid, sphere) using the three- dimensional photoelastic method. The specimens are recommended according to the temporary rule of the testing method for the contact fatigue testing machine(JPM— 1 and JP—BD) . The distributive case of stresses can be obtained. After the experimental and calculative results are compared, It is suggest that the spherical specimen is adopted as standrad specimen. Its advantages are: (1) The request isn’t severe to experimental condition and the comparability of experimental results is good. (2) The spherial specimen is typical because it is similar to the shape of most parts that is subjected to fatigue failure in engineeing practice (3) A small force exerted on the specimen can produce a comparatively larger stress .
