【摘要】 本文讨论了对42个疏散星团的成员星的确定。归算结果的分析表明,Vasilevskis的数学模型用于疏散星团成员的研究是合理的,作者对Sanders方法所做的改进以及按判别分析原理确定星团成员的概念,可以有效地避免把小概率恒星误认为星团成员。正确计算星场中每一颗恒星的成员概率是最重要的;对于疏散星团的研究,必须选用成员概率大的恒星。统计方法应用的有效性同星场内团星和场星的速度分布密切相关。对于那些成员概率普遍很低,或相对出错数比较大的星场来说,必须给以特别的注意,最好要配以其它观测资料以对成员星问题作更为细致的分析。更多还原

【Abstract】 Results obtained from determination of membership of 42 open clusters are summed up and discussed in this paper. It is shown from analysis of the results that the mathematical model, which was developed by Vasilevskis and has been used to determine membership of open clusters, is quite reasonable. The major axis of the distribution of proper motions of field stars has a preferential orientation, which is parallel to the galactic plane. When the procedure improved on Sanders’ method by us and the concept about the discriminatory analysis principle are used for determination of cluster members, it can be avoided to consider improperly stars with low membership probabilities as members of a cluster. Correctly calculating the membership probability four each star in a field is of the greatest importance. It is necessary to adopt stars with high membership probabilities for investigation on the open cluster. The availability of application of the statistical method is dependent on the proper motion distributions of members and field stars in a stellar field. Par,titular attention should be paid to stellar fields with stars mostly or even totally having low membership probabilities or with comparatively great error rate, and in such cases it is better to combine observational data other than proper motion for analyzing the problem on member ship in greater detail.更多还原
