【Abstract】 This paper reported the effects of experimental treatment of osteoporosis ofrats induced by low calcium diet+prednisone(450μg/100g/2 times IM/week)Forty female rats,body weight 100～120g randomized divided into 5 groups:Group 1-normal control,Group 2—low calcium diet,Group 3—low calcium diet+prednisone,Group 4—low calcium diet+prednisone+low dose compositions calcium glycerophos-phate 10mg+vitamin D 50 IU/100g,given orally,Group 5—low calcium diet+prednisone+high dose composition calcium glycerophosphate 40mg+vitamin D 200 IU/100g,givenorally.After 5 weeks,blood was drawn from the abdominal aorta under ether anesthesia.Serum calcium were determined using atomic absorption.All rats were sacrificed andboth side femurs were removed.One side femur was used for roentgenogram and thenthe cortical thickness,the dry weight,the ash weight and the calcium were measured.Another femur was used for histological examination.The result of experiment showed that rat osteoporosis induced by corticosteroidtreated with calcium glycerophosphate and vitamin D composita was satisfactory.更多还原
