【Abstract】 The author of this paper used colour metallographic method to study the eutectic carbide and microcracks in Cr12 steel.The results are quite unexpected: the eutectic carbide （CrFe）₇C₃ is not a single phase but a mixed one. It consists of （CrFe）₇C₃, （FeCr）₃C and a little r-phase. Microcracks are also found in eutectic carbide （CrFe）₇C₃.更多还原
