【Abstract】 179 cases of severe epidemic encephalitis B were admitted in 1980～1983, during which 60 cases had been associated with peripheral circulatory failure. 40 cases survived with emergency treatment. Analyses were carried out on the relationships between subsequent peripheral circulatory failure and the course, and between types and main cause of death of the disease. An approach to the etiology, earlier diagnosis and prophylactic, and treatment were discussed. And it was emphasized that α-adrenergic blocking agent should be used in time with the comprehensive treatments, as soon as peripheral circulatory failure occurred in patients with severe epidemic encephalitis B.更多还原
