【Abstract】 A series of new porous polymeric beads with suitable specific surface area and sufficient thermal stability have been prepared by suspension copolymerization of ethylstyrene, acrylonitrile, diallyl itaco-nate and divinylbenzene. The polymeric beads are suitable for use as gas chromatographic stationary phase. The use of these beads for the separation of various mixtures of compounds is well documented through several examples.
