【Abstract】 Zorbax Sil column and the mobile phases containing acids were used in the separation of some acidic organic compounds, such as dis-phenol A with its impurities and three isomers of hydroxy-beuzoic acid. If there is no acids in mobile phases, carboxylic acids were strongly retained by silica gel column, and can not be chromatographed. The addition of an acid improves the chromatographic behavior of the carboxylic acids significantly, and their peak shapes become rather symmetrical. The retention of the acidic organic compounds decreases with the increase of the acid concentration and the decrease of the acid chain length in the moile phases.更多还原
