【Abstract】 In this paper the energy method is employed to determine the modal stress intensity factors of concrete gravity dams under seismic loading.By superposition, the maximum stress intensity factor Kmax can then be obtained. The Kmax values for a gravity dam are calculated concerning to six kinds of horizontal crack with different altitude at upstream face and downstream face. A preliminary analysis for the possibility of crack propagation has been made. The conversion relation of Kmax for similar geometry with different height dams is also given.更多还原
