【Abstract】 The key to stabilizing a II-type mast lies in the position of its front legs. The author took three methods in making analyses on stability of front legs and got different safety coefficients. And strong and weak points of these three methods were also evaluated. On this basis, the author went further and suggested that it be appropriate to adopt linear struts as the front legs for the II-type mast in design and to select steel A3 as the material.更多还原
