【Abstract】 The effects of various telomers on the HIPS properties and the different methods oftheir applications have been studied.It has been observed that,although the telomericefficiency of α-methylstyrene dimer is lower than that of mecaptan,the resultingproperties of HIPS are better with dimer than with mecaptan.The best way of applyingdimer is to add it once for all at the beginning of the process.It has also been foundthat there exists a peak in the relationship between the amount of telomer and thestrength of impact and yield.The reason for the emergence of this peak is also discussedin this paper.更多还原
