【Abstract】 Three case of congenital jerking nystagmus are reported and literatures reviewed. It is concluded that surgical procedure is advisable in these cases. Surgical procedures are: 1. Anderson’s operation is done to recess the horizontal muscle of the slow movement direction so that the muscle is weakened; 2. Goto’s operation to strengthen the horizontal muscIe of the rapid movement direction, i. e. resection or advance; 3. Kestenbaum’s operation to strengthen the horizontal muscle of rapid movement direction and weakening the slow movement direction of both eyes; 4. Schlossman’s operation, surgery on the better eye when there is strabismus or amblyopia. It should be overcorrected and can be operated on both eyes. It can also be corrected by prism or eye drops.更多还原
