【Abstract】 Simplest method to evaluate the anti-scuffing behaviour of a material in conventionalway is to determine the product of the bearing pressure P and the relative sliding ve-locity V of moving surfaces.As the allowable value of PV of different materialsdepends on the ludrication regime which in turn depends on the roughness of surfaces,and the working temperature between the moving surfaces.It is therefore very impor-tant to control the associate parameters during the experiment.This paper presentsthe ways of controlling these parameters for the purpose of obtaining PV values moreaccurately in measurement.The method used here may be helpful to the evaluation of the anti-scuffing beha-viour of other nonferrous metals.更多还原
