【Abstract】 The development and some ecolo-gical physiology of phlebotomus kiang-suensis and Sergentomyia bailyi, bre-eding in the Oriental Region, were stu-died under laboratory conditions (19-28℃). On the basis of comparative ob-servations on the period needed forcompleting the development form eggsto the fourth instars among 5 species(2 in the Oriental Region, 3 in thepelaearetic Region) which had been stu-died in our laboratory, it seemed thatthe period was related to the species,but not to the genus, and under thesame rearing conditions the developmentof the sandflies distributing in theCriental Region was somewhat fasterthan that in the Pelaearetic Region.更多还原
