TRANSFORMATION OF SEPIOLITE INTO TALC DURING DIAGENESIS
【摘要】 <正> A kind of talc mudston’e is distributed wLdely in the Permian strata in the zone of Guniuling and Liujiawan, Leping, Jiangxi Province. It possesses all the nature Of talc, being dispersed and suspended in water, sintered and with plasticity and particularity (less than 2μ in size). The talc mudstone is in close connection with sepiolite at spacetime. An explanation for the processes of formation is given in this note.
