高速钢刀具空心阴极离子镀氮化钛涂层的研究

【摘要】 本文论述了空心阴极离子镀原理,高速钢刀具氮化钛涂层工艺条件的选择,如涂层材料、沉积温度、工件偏压、涂层相成分的选择依据等试验结果。介绍了高速钢刀具涂层相成分分析及断面成分的电子探针、离子探针、电子衍射分析以及涂层形貌的观测和涂层结晶择优取向的测定。报道了涂层耐磨性的测定和涂层刀具切削性能以及各种涂层高速钢刀具在生产线上的切削试验结果和涂层工具的经济效益分析。试验证明,用空心阴极法制得的氮化钛涂层高速钢刀具可以降低摩擦系数25%左右,降低刀具的切削力30%左右,可明显减少刀具切削时的积屑瘤,因而高提了加工件的尺寸精度和表面光洁度。氮化钛涂层高速钢刀具的使用寿命可提高3~5倍,涂层刀具的经济效益明显。

【Abstract】 This paper deals with the principle and the process of hollow-cathode sputtering ion-plating of TiN on high speed steel tools. The selection and control of the process parameters of ion-plating such as the coating material, plating temperature, bias of tool has been investigated. The morphology of the layer has been observed by means of SEM. The orientation of crystallization and the phase constitution of coating layer were determined by electron probe, ion probe and electron diffraction methods. The wear resistance of the ion-plating TiN coating and the cutting feature of the tool were tested。 The experimental result denoted that, the friction coefficient of high speed steel tool coated by TiN can be reduced by 25%, the cutting force can be reduced by 30% and then the silver white chip on the tools during cutting may be greatly redueed, and the dimension precision and the surface finish may be increased. The service life of tools may be increased by 3-5 times, and the economic benefit is remarkable.
