【Abstract】 This paper deals with a new iterative algorithm for limit analysis of plane problems which is based on the new lower bound theorem proposed by Chinese professor Zhong Wanxie in 1982. With the new method the lower bound of stress fields and load multipliers can be calculated while the corresponding replacement, the stress field mode and the upper bound of load multipliers can also be obtained, which converges to the right value after several iterations. This method has been used in computers for limit analysis of plane stress problems.更多还原
