PLANE EIGENSTRAIN PROBLEM OF ELLIPTIC INCLUSION IN 2-PHASE MEDIUM

【摘要】 <正> The plane eigenstrain problem of an elliptic inclusion in a 2-phase isotropic medium is analyzed on the basis of the line-force concept. Explicit expressions for the stress fields of the interior and exterior of an inclusion in phase I are obtained. The strain energy of a circular inclusion is calculated. The results show that the maximum variation of the strain energy due to inhomogeneity effect can reach about 50 percent.
