【Abstract】 We made a survey on the incidence of Entamoeba gingivalis infection in 381 inhabitants of Hengyang by scraping teeth calculi, and examining them under a microscope. Before exam, the teeth calculi were put in normal saline on a slide. The results showed that the average incidence of amoeba infection was 33%. Most of the persons who suffered from Entamoeba gingivalis were in a bud condition of oral hygiene of had a periodontitis, and some of them were complicated by periodontal abscess.更多还原
