【Abstract】 Mannich reaction of substituted phenols with iminodiacetic acid and formaldehydewere used to synthesize 18 phenolic compounds containing a CH₂N（CH₂CO₂H）₂substituent,Four different reaction conditions were employed.The structure of theproducts were determined by means of ¹H NMR spectrum which indicated that theCH₂N（CH₂CO₂H）₂ group always entered the position ortho to the phenolic hydroxylgroup and it was possible that the steric factor was not important in determining theposition of the entering group in these Mannich reactions.更多还原
