【Abstract】 The present paper analyses the variation of the wind field in Xiamen and its nearby harbours, based on the observed wind data from the Xiamen Stations as well as the statistical data obtained on the sea. The results indicate that. (1) The monsoon is obvious and the wind in winter is stronger, with its prevailing period longer; (2) The wind is greatly influenced by the topography and the annual average wind speed slower along the Fujian coast; (3) There are differences not only in the wind direction but also in the speed among various harbours, owing to the influences by the topography.更多还原
