【Abstract】 The Km of catalas in liver homogenate of the mouse bearing Ehrlich Ascites carcinoma was found to be far greater than that of the normal animal, and on the contrary, the enzyme activity of abnormal animal was significantly lower. After purification, the Km value of this enzyme from both of the normal and abnormal mice tended to get unanimous. This result indicated that the lower enzyme activity was not solely due to the lower enzyme content since the Km value bears no relation to the enzyme concentration, it seems that there are some influential factors in the liver of the tumor host.
