【Abstract】 The Pyralidae is one of the largest families in Lepidoptera which contains quite multitudinous species. According to Munroe’s estimating in 1972 that there are more than thirty thousand species in the world. In our country, in spite of the fact that the species of Pyralidae are still cot investigated clearly, 11 subfamilies, 268 genera and 1393 species are known. There are at least two thousand species which are estimated roughly by Wang Ping-yuan in 1980. How many species are there in Guizhou after all has not been systematical imformation of survey to date. Thanks to this family containing a lot of important insect pests, including various insect pest, store foods, dry fruits, medicinal herbs and others, they relate to the economy of human beings closely. The writer carried out the survey of the species and their hosts and distribution of this family in recent years, and the results are given as follows.The total amount of Pyralidae is 9 subfamilies,59 genera and 96 species.更多还原
