【Abstract】 Application of Kalman-Bucy filtering technique to estimation of nonmeasurable states, such as molecular weight averages and distributions of polymers from industrial polymerization reactors, is stated in this paper, in which modelling and simulation with available data for batch suspended polymerization of styrene is included in particular. Estimation has been worked out to acquire process state information. Study reveals that the extended Kalman filter is effective for obtaining otherwise unknown state data of reactors; and that would help guide to off-line supervision and quality control of processes concerned.更多还原
